Meet the Pastor

Pastor Charles Lollar began his ministry in March of 1992 as the Youth Pastor at Bethel
Baptist Church in Powder Springs, Georgia. He served there for over a year before
starting Trinity Christian Center May of 1993. Born in Toppenish, Washington, he is the
younger of two sons. His father, a tax consultant, instilled in him an old fashion work
ethic while his mother, a librarian, taught him how to be compassionate and caring for his
fellow man.

At the age of 13, Charles delivered newspapers before going to school every morning.
He worked his way through both high school and college by bagging groceries, stocking
shelves, and selling items door-to- door.

After attending McEachern High School in Powder Springs, Georgia, Charles earned an
AA degree from Emory University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science
from Kennesaw University, an MBA from Regent University and License to Ministry in
1992.

Charles proudly served his country for 20 years in the United States Marine Corps and
earned several medals and decorations to include a Combat Action medal.

In addition to over 22 years in the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ, Pastor Charles has
been a corporate executive for over 15 years with three Fortune 500 companies to include
Cintas Corporation, United Parcel Service and WalMart corporation.

Civic duty has always been a part of our Lords calling for Pastor Charles’ life. He
participated in several community organizations and elected positions. He has served as
the Chairman of multiple organizations to include: Maryland Taxpayers Association,
Charles County Political Party and Second Genesis Treatment Center. In addition he has
served on the Executive Board of Directors for the Maryland Chamber of Commerce and
is a graduate of the Coverdell Leadership Institute, Leadership Maryland and Leadership
Prince George County Maryland.

Charles and his wife, Rosha, have been married for twenty four years. They are the
proud parents of 4 daughters and a grandson.
